Custom Room Signage and Wayfinding

Room plaques, door hangers, corridor wayfinding and in-room compendiums — the printed and fabricated pieces that tell a guest where they are.

Common buyer questions:

• Do we need tactile and braille plaques? If your corridors fall under accessibility requirements, yes — and it is separate tooling, so it is worth specifying at order rather than discovering at inspection. Tell us the jurisdiction and we will tell you what applies.
• Why is the door hanger double-sided? One face requests privacy, the other requests service. A single hanger stays on the door handle; two separate cards end up in a drawer.
• Will the hanger fit our handles? It is die-cut to a standard lever aperture that fits the great majority of European and North American handles. Send a photograph of your handle with the enquiry if you are unsure — a custom die is available and cheap at volume.
• Why does the compendium use swappable sleeves? Because a compendium with the restaurant hours printed into it is wrong the first time the hours change, and reprinting the folder costs more than reprinting a sheet.
• Can wayfinding be updated when a room is renamed? Yes. The printed face sits behind the brushed acrylic as a separate layer, so a floor's directions can be reprinted for the cost of a sheet rather than the cost of a panel.
